Montepulciano D'Abruzzo DOC Wine - Legame Spinelli 2024
On the label, there's a deer on a rock. They chose it because the deer, elegant and poised, guards the mountain just as this wine guards the bond between man and his land. It's not a random choice: the Spinelli family has been producing wine in Atessa, in the province of Chieti, for generations, and Legame is the wine that best describes who they are: structured but not heavy, with character but without excess.
Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is the grape variety of this land. Legame expresses its most mature and profound version: intense ruby red color, aromas of dark fruits and spices, a full flavor with a tannic structure that makes it ideal for meat and aged cheeses. At 14% vol, it has the right weight to keep up with the most important seasonings.

A tip from the Belfiore Brothers
< Open it half an hour beforehand, let it breathe. With spicy ventricina and a piece of aged pecorino, it's the most direct way to understand why certain wines and certain cured meats come from the same region... and get along so well.>
